A hanging textile sculpture made from embroidery canvas, intricately manipulated and supported by a hidden metal armature. This understructure allows the form to twist and flow in a continuous, organic way. Layered colour gradations applied shade over shade create depth and dimensionality, enhancing the tactile presence of the piece. While abstract in form, the sculpture draws inspiration from a personal collection of shell-like objects. These inspirations are quietly echoed in three accompanying photographs displayed on the surrounding walls. Abstract and emotionally resonant, the sculpture explores the feeling of being internally entangled, where softness, structure, and complexity coexist in a delicate tension.
