Valia Kapeletzi is a textile designer and artist based in Athens, Greece.
She holds a degree in Textile Design from the London College of Fashion and has previously worked with Iris van Herpen as a textile developer.
Her practice explores the transformative potential of materials through textile experimentation and handcrafted processes. Drawing inspiration from organic forms and natural textures, she creates installations and sculptural textiles that engage with light, transparency, and spatial perception.
Working from her studio in Athens, Valia continues to develop projects that merge art, design, and material research. Her work has been presented in various exhibitions and creative collaborations in Greece and abroad.
