Efflorescent Threads is a dialogue between two makers. One applies natural colour to the fabric, using petals to imprint the memory of the flowers, preserving their presence through pigment. The other responds by pulling threads, subtly removing structure and reshaping the textile’s surface, introducing absence as form, inviting shadow to become part of the composition. One artist adds, the other takes away. Together, a rhythm of presence and absence is formed. The piece plays with contrasts: light and shadow, the density of natural colour and the transparency revealed through thread removal. A meeting of techniques, a layered conversation, a shared space where opposites co-exist.
