This series of artworks was created under the title Salzträume, as part of a hanging, multi-layered textile installation. The print design on these thread-pulled artworks is an imprint of threads frozen in time. The physical threads appear to grow seamlessly out of the imprinted threads, creating an interchange between what is real and what is not. The title of the exhibition for which these artworks were created signifies the blurry, hazy moment between dreaming and awakening. The artworks aim to capture this moment through the interaction between solid and fluid elements, while the concept of memory becomes a central theme, as the imprinted threads portray a moment of fluid movement captured still.
